How to Change Font on Snapchat

How to Change Font on Snapchat Step by Step?

In order for you to change font on Snapchat, you first need to make a snap. Once you have taken a snap on your Android or iOS mobile device, you have a chance to add text to it that serves as snap caption. To do that, tap on the capital ‘T’ that is located between the pencil icon and the sticker icon. You can find the ‘T’ and the other two icons in the top right corner of the screen.

By tapping on the ‘T’, you will be able to add a text caption to your snap. Once you’re done with it, your text will appear on a small black strip. The color of the text is white by default. The text itself is very tiny and unattractive.

To change the location of your caption, drag the text box to any part of your snap where you want the text to be located at.

Change Text Size

Before you can change the text size, you need to create a caption as mentioned above. To make the font bigger, tap on the ‘T’ icon again before you post your snap. This will make your text bigger and aligned to the left side. If you want to make the text even bigger, tap on the ‘T’ icon for the third time. This will make the text grow in size and will also align it to the center.

To change the text size after that, simply place your thumb finger and index finger on the screen around the text. Spread your fingers apart to make the text bigger or pinch to make the text smaller.

How To Rotate Text On Snapchat

Getting tired of the straight texts and want to make things more fun? On Snapchat, you can do so. Changing the rotation of the text can make your snap more unique and representable. Before you can rotate your text, you have to follow the steps above and make your text bigger.

Once your text is enlarged, you can rotate it by placing your thumb finger and index finger on the screen around the text. Rotate the fingers while they are touching the screen near the text. When you are satisfied with the text rotation, lift the fingers to make the text position stable again.

If you want to, you can also change the text size at the same time as you are rotating the text. While rotating your fingers, simply spread your fingers apart to make the text bigger or pinch to make the text smaller.

As before, you can still move the caption around by using a finger to drag the text box up and down the screen.

CHANGE TEXT COLOR

CHANGE TEXT COLOR Snapchat

To make life more colorful, you can start by getting rid of the default white text on Snapchat. Before you can change the color of your text, you have to follow the steps above and make your text bigger.

Once your text is enlarged, tap on the ‘T’ icon twice in a row. In the top right corner, a color bar will show up. To change the color of your text, drag your finger down and up on the color bar. When you get to the color that you like, release your finger to make the selected color stable.

If you want to choose white color again, drag your finger to the top of the screen and to the left until it is out of the color bar boundaries. If you want to use black color for your text instead, drag your finger below the color bar and towards the bottom of the screen.

If you want to have a colored text but also small, now is the right time to take care of that as well. Once your text is colored, you can make it smaller without returning it back to the default white color. To do so, simply place your thumb finger and index finger on the screen around the text. Pinch the screen with your fingers to make the text smaller.

To add emoji to your snap, tap on the ‘Sticker’ icon which is located in the top right corner of your screen, to the left of the ‘T’ icon. Select the emoji that you like and drag it anywhere on your snap. You can also resize the emoji by placing your thumb finger and index finger on the screen around the emoji. Spread your fingers to make it bigger or pinch to make it smaller. If you want to rotate your emoji, turn your fingers as they are touching the screen. If you want to delete the emoji, tap on it and drag it to the trash.

Geostickers are a bunch of stickers that relate to your location. Depending on where you are at, you will see different stickers. These stickers are themed according to your location. In order for you to be able to access geostickers, you first have to allow Snapchat to access your location. To do so, go to Snapchat’s settings, scroll to ‘Additional Services’ and tap on ‘Manage Preferences’. Select ‘Permissions’ and tap on ‘Edit Permissions’. Select ‘While Using’ option next to the location icon.

Once you’re done with that, you can add geostickers to the pictures that you take. To do so, tap on the ‘Sticker’ icon which is located in the top right corner of your screen, to the left of the ‘T’ icon. Swipe over to the location icon (map pin) and choose the geostickers that you like from the group.

If you want to use white color, drag your finger to the top of the screen and to the left until it is out of the color bar boundaries. If you want to use black color for your drawing instead, drag your finger below the color bar and towards the bottom of the screen.

Once you select the color you want, doodle with your finger to begin drawing. If you wish to remove recent changes from your drawing, tap on the ‘Undo’ which is located left of the ‘Pencil’ icon.

ADD FILTERS TO YOUR SNAPS

If you want to spice up your snaps even more, don’t hesitate to add filters. To do so, take a picture and swipe left until you find the filter that best suits your picture.

If you want to add geofilters, which are filters related to your location, make sure that you allow Snapchat to access your location. To do so, go to Snapchat’s settings, scroll to ‘Additional Services’ and tap on ‘Manage Preferences’. Select ‘Permissions’ and tap on ‘Edit Permissions’. Select ‘While Using’ option next to the location icon.

Once location is enabled, take a picture and swipe right to access geofilters. These filters consist of interesting information including temperature, time, speed, etc.

ADD LENSES TO YOUR SNAPS

Lenses are definitely something that you should look into before you start creating new snaps. Snapchat lenses track your face movements and can add a cool look to your videos or pictures.

To add lenses, get ready to take a picture. As your face is in the screen frame, tap on the middle of the screen to activate face-tracking. White lines will appear all over your face. If Snapchat was successful at recognizing your face, you will see a row with circles appear at the bottom of the screen. These are lenses. To switch between them, swipe left. Once you have selected the one you like, tap on the shutter button to take a photo with lenses applied. If you want to record a video, hold the shutter button down instead.
